Lolz I don't recall why I did that.

-So I got my report card!
Bad news....first time in my entire life that I didn't get straight A's.*squeaks
My mom was ready to kill me. I admit that I haven't been paying as much attention as I usually do. Maybe I'm going through a phase or something, normally I'd be so ready to stuff my face with whatever the teachers throw at me. But last semester I was like, "eck" most of the time, as in; Chemistry? Eck. Maths? Eck. Do my homework? Eck. Get off the computer? Eck.
Bleughhh what's past is past right? I'm gonna try harder next semester.

-Only 2 weeks until school starts, can you believe that?!!  Assignments need to be done, book reports need to be written, and I need to stop watching youtube. So little time!!!

-I saw The Ugly Truth on Saturday. It's really gross in a hilarious way. I went with my cousins and there were hardly any people in the cinema, we laughed until it hurt. Literally.

-Rain, rain, rain. I usually don't mind rain, but when it messes with my cable....GRRRRRRR

So I'VE been TaKiNg SoMe ExTra ClaSSes

I have Advanced Maths Class everyday at 10 to 12....then I have Chemistry at 3-5.
I have to take the bus, the underground, then the skytrain to get there.
I'm not getting enough sleep and my holiday no longer exists.

Oh, and today I have 20 pages of Chem homework.
I CONSTANTLY complain that I never get to go out, all I do is stay at home, and there's nothing to do, blah blah blah. Now look at me. I'm like the walking dead.

BLEUGH

The things we do for education huh?

Tell me what's going on with you!!

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG I'm getting my report card this week.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so nervous cos the subjects I've been taking are about 20 times harder than last year, and I've been paying more attention to extra curricula activities than to class. *shrieks

You've probably seen me around, leaving comments on your journals that don't really make sense....but I haven't had time to update my own journal at all. And also the fact that nothing much has been happening.

You probably wouldn't want to know that I have to wake up at 5 to go to school and I usually spend the night studying until 12. See??? Who would want to know that??!!! That's depressing!

Right now I'm a part of VAW: Violence against women change agent group in my school. We have projects and we work to end violence in school....That doesn't really sound right...LOL Being a very very old (100+ yrs)and conservative girls school, our "violent" cases are like 1)Minimal freedom of speech 2)Misunderstanding between students-students and students-teachers etc. etc.
It's quite fun doing this, I get to work with lots of really awesome ppl at skl, but it's also exhausting!! We have a schedule to maintain and a report to write every month so that UNIFEM knows what exactly we're doing.

I miss Prison Break!!!! LOL That came out of nowhere.
Has anyone ever seen Bones??? That's a really good show, I started getting hooked after Prison Break ended.Oh and question, what is up with FOX and brain problems this year???

You'll never guess what happened to me!!!

I tested positive for Influenza type A, as you probably know swine flu H1N1 is in that category as well. So I had to stay at home for a whole week, I missed heaps of school...not that I'm complaining. LOL
On Monday night I had a headache and a fever, I thought it was because I was in the sun for too long. Then on Tuesday I went to Pattaya ( a seaside town, think Florida, in Thailand) so MORE sun , my brother found me on sleeping on the kitchen tiles...I told him "The floor's cold. It's nice" I might've scared him a little, but like that's new. HAHA. Wednesday morning, my mom had me tested at my grandfather's hospital and WhHADDYA KNOw???!!! I'm SICK!! The worst part was that I had to stay at my house in Rayong, which has no cable, no internet, nothing!!!! I think I watched the same episode of two and a half men 3 times a day. I saw Prison Break re-runs. Bones reruns. ER reruns. And Crufts, a British dog show. LOL

I'm totally fine now, just coughing a little. But the headache and fever's gone. I still have to walk around wearing a mask though!!

The good thing is that I'm totally immuned to Type A influenza now. No need for vaccines. No needles=No pain. Heeheehee.

Finally a chance to update!!

-Well, school has started for me and that's what I've been slaving over during my absence. Last week I worked as a staff at a Democracy Camp held by one of the older girls at school. It was a 2-day camp. The kids were great, very cooperative, and I guess I can say that the wholet thing was a success.
On Sunday evening, the staff were hot, tired, sunburnt, and most of us had lost our voices from shouting too much. But it was still great cos it felt like we finally had the opportunity to prove to the teachers that we are SOO capable of getting things done. I'm so proud of my peeps. :P

-Swine flu epidemic!!! My school had to close for a week!!! I thought someone was sick but apparently they were just being careful and wanted to clean the school. The minute the school announced a holiday, all my teachers were queing up to give us homework. It was kinda funny. Looked like one of those drive-thrus. LOL
Oh and today I got kinda bored while working so I sent a message to all my contacts telling them to pull out their hair and poke it in the ear of the person sitting next to them. HAHAHA

-Did I mention I'm Class President??? I haven't been one in 4 years.. I always tell my friends not to elect me because for some reason I feel that I can do sooo much more being vice-president. Is that weird or what?? Anyways, I was elected because this year I was at the Violence Against Women workshop on the first day of school and didn't get the chance to give my friends one of my "ELECT ME AND I'LL KILL YOU!!" speeches. LOL. It's not as bad as I remembered though. Maybe my leadership skills have improved.

-Life without Prison Break is kinda boring. :(
The thing that gets my adrenaline pumping the most these days is 4 hours of Physics on Wednesdays. Oh yeah. Real thrilling.

I got back from the VAW (violence against women) conference/ workshop on Tuesday.
And on the last day, Princess Bajrakitiyabha, an important person who supports this cause and a Goodwill UN ambassador came to see the expediton that we did. Consequently, someone had to tell her about what we'd learnt and done, and guess who was chosen???

Yes.ME. I spent the day fretting and worrying and not being able to eat breakfast. But it all turned out well and here's a pic from the news.
I'm the youngest/shortest person. LOL

I was on every news channel and here's a vid. http://www.ch7.com/news/news_royal_detail.aspx?c=1&p=1&d=27172
I'm the nervous looking girl speaking on microphone after the first 3 quarters of the clip.
It's all in Thai so LOL-AT-ME-FOR-TRYING-TO-PIMP-MYSELF-TWICE-THAT-HAS-TO-BE-ILLEGAL

Oh and I saw the finale of Prison Break. )

Ahhh....it's nice to be back. *hugs you all

Even if I have to go back to school (which now starts at 7.20am)  and learn Physics for 4 hours in a row every wednesday. GUH!

On Sunday I went to Kanchanaburi, along with my parents, brother (Peter), cousins (Grace and Gear).
We visited the Bridge on the river Kwae. During WWII, Japanese soldiers forced prisoners-of-war to build this railway, which resulted in many deaths.
We swam in a waterfall...and I did the dumbest thing. I forgot to take my phone out of my pocket!!!! LOL I got it fixed, but there's still some water trapped in the screen. Hehe.

Since my school is over 100 years old and is located on the old palace grounds, the community around it is considered to be historical.
Today, being the second day of my high school orientation, we went for a field trip.

I think we went to about 3 temples, we saw the old forts and walls, and we even visited an old prison, now used as a museum.
I got to see a documentary about prisoners on death row. The guide warned us not to watch if we're not comfortable with it, but I was curious and for the sake of education I saw the whole thing. I don't know what it's like in other countries, but here the prisoners never know their execution date until the day actually comes....I'm guessing it's for security reasons. And from the tapes, they didn't have any relatives with them either, they were walked from their cell surrounded by 20 guards or so, they went through some documents and while they were signing their names, you could actually see their hands shaking......Then they had their last meal, which most couldn't eat anyways, they get to call their family, and then it's off to the executional room.
About 2 decades ago, they used target shooting as an executional method. The prisoner is tied up to a post, and there's a screen between the prisoner and the executioner and...well, you know the rest.
Nowadays they use lethal injections. First it's something to put the inmates to sleep, then another drug is used to paralyze the body, and the last injection stops the heart.

Sometimes, when I'm watching the news. And I hear about the horrible, horrible things people do; rape, murder, gang-rape, human trafficking, sometimes I can't help but feel that the world would be a better place without them. But I saw these tapes, and it was obvious that all these men regretted what they did, and they would probably take it back if they were given another chance, but it's too late for that now.

* is depressed

Clearing my head now.
I tend to obsess too much over things that I have no control over.
Anyways the field trip lasted all day, I walked about 7 kilometres....o_O  and it was soooooooo hot! At the end of the day it was fun being with my crazy peeps, even if one of them kept singing country songs at the top of their lungs while crossing the street and almost got hit by a bus. :P And oh, did I mention? We've got homework as well....

WHY??? WHY MAN WHY???!!!!!!!

All I want to do now is go take a shower and sleep, oh yes..sleep!!!!

Wait wait wait, one more thing. I heard there's a certain spoiler going around about the finale. From Kristin..I think. Tell me this, in one word only, good or bad or normal? Actually, DON'T tell me if it's bad. LOL
NO DETAILS plzzz!!
I'm trying to quit spoilers, since the ending is sooo close and I don't want to spoil it anymore than I already have. But I can't help wanting to know a teeny weeny bit.

:D

I got started on my essay, "How much do you know about New Zealand"

I wrote one paragraph describing New Zealand's fascinating geography and physical characteristics but it sounded sooooo much like a boring documentary so I decided to re-write it, and I tried to make it a bit more personal.

So now it's too bleeping personal!!!!!
Why don't I just send them a copy of my diary for crying out loud???!!!

Apart from that, I now have a problem filtering my ideas. I'm cramming everything in and it's only supposed to be 1 page long.
*screams out in pure frustration

Why am I having so much trouble with this essay?? It's not like I've never done them before......or is it because I'm not feeling inspired enough?

And the fact that the deadline is in less than 2 weeks isn't helping either.

Gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....................

Prison Break Promo Number 2 people!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZ0VRhWQbWk
Time is just flying by isn't it?? Sigh sigh.

Moving on now, so I got this email from my friend about an essay writing competition. On the topic of "How much do you know about New Zealand?"

First place winner gets to spend 3 weeks in New Zealand, with a host family, go to a Kiwi school, get pocket money blah blah blah
Second place winner will get exactly the same things except no pocket money.
Third place winner will get to spend TWO weeks in NZ instead of three.

The rules are you have to be a Thai student, there's no age limit (so I could be competing against a 20 year old), and you can write in either English or Thai.
I chose English though, because come on! *Anyone* can write Thai :)
Oh by the way, this is a national thing.
I'm up against millions and millions of students. *cringes

So these past couple of days I've been trying to write. I mind-mapped all my topics, did research, talked to some of my friends that I met while I was in New Zealand last year....blah blah blah. I've been buried in books and websites all day.
But still haven't written a word!!! LOL LOL LOL

If anyone has any tips on writing, tidbits of useful (or even useless) facts about New Zealand, ways to summon my muse, pointless jokes to crack me up, ANYTHING at all!!
I know you're out there, and you'd better come out!!

Please?? Pretty please???? *acts cute

Okay, I feel weird now. I think I swallowed a lot of pool water. Pffff!!
Bye bye guys! (oh hey that rhymes!!)

*throw kisses at you all
